NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Trevecca's Women Golf Team finished play in the Walsh Invitational at The Sanctuary Golf Club in North Canton, Ohio. The course, built in 2002, is a Par 71 and covers 6,109 total yards. There were 59 golfers spreading across 10 teams taking part in the two round invitational event hosted by Walsh University.

The Trojans produced back-to-back 341 scores for a two day total of 682 that delievered the team second place behind host and champion Walsh University who posted a (329-318) 647.
 
Leading the way for the five player Trojan squad was Ashley Birdwell who finished fourth with a (81-83) 164. For her efforts Birdwell was named to the All-Tournament team.

Betsy Beaver was sixth with a (79-86) 165. Beaver led the tournament with her 79 on day one. Alyssa Moe shot a (90-83) 173 to finish 13th. Freshman Whitney Phillips and Maddie Privott posted scores of (91-89) 180 and (93-108) 201 respectively.

The Trojans will compete in the Berry College Fall Invitational at the Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome, Ga. October 5-6.
