MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Trojan's (2-6-1, 0-2) fell to NAIA No. 1 Bethel University (7-0-1, 2-0 TSAC) on the road on Friday by the score of 6-1. The defending NAIA National Champions led just 1-0 at the break.

Trevecca hung tough in the first half against the NAIA's top ranked team and trailed just 1-0 as Hayden Coffman had seven saves in the first half for TNU. The only blemish was a goal from Guilherme Karaoglan at 37:52. In fact, the score was still 1-0 when Bethel struck again at 64:43 on a goal from Felix Obilo. The Wildcats opened the match up at that point with goals from Mario Vila Boa (65:51), Dawayne Smith (67:39), Joseph Omondi (75:26) and Samsideen Singateh (83:14).

Trevecca will visit No. 24 Martin Methodist (3-1-2) on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m in Pulaski, Tenn.
