ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Trojans (16-8, 6-3 TSAC) opened play in the Lindenwood Invitational on Friday with a 14-25, 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 19-17 win over Dana
College (Neb.) (14-11) in game one.
Trevecca's Kaley Ward led the Trojans attack with 15 kills and five
errors in 31 attempts. Ward added two blocked shots and two block
assists. Rachel Spotten had a terrific match with 17 kills, 16 digs, and four block assists.
Up next Oklahoma City University (11-14) at 7 p.m. On Saturday the Trojans will face two
challenging and NAIA top 25 ranked teams with #4 Columbia College (Mo.) (19-1)
at 11:30 a.m. and host #22 Lindenwood University (21-6) at 3:30 p.m.
