ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The Trojans (17-10, 6-3 TSAC) fell 23-25, 5-25, 21-25 to NAIA No. 4 Columbia College (Mo.) (22-1) in their first of two Saturday matches against Top 25 teams at the Lindenwood Classic. In the second match of the day Trevecca lost 24-26, 20-25, 23-25 to the Classic host and NAIA No. 22 Lindenwood (24-7).
 
Haley White had 18 digs while Kaley Ward had eight kills with one block and a block assist. Jessica Hood had eight kills and seven digs. The loss ended a four match win streak for the Trojans.  
In the second match Kaley Ward helped the Trojans stay close with seven kills, a solo block, and three block assists. Teegan Hunziker had 10 kills and 16 digs. Rachel Spotten 10 kills and Haley White 15 kills.
Trevecca will visit Lee University (23-4) on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 6 p.m.
