NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca men's soccer coach has signed Josh Sanders of Murfreesboro, Tenn. to play for the Trojans beginning in the Fall of 2010. Sanders plays for Coach Jeff Boynton at Oakland High School and Brad Hornsby in club soccer.

Coach Leavy says Sanders will add strength to the defense, "Josh is a great addition to our program. He has the drive and the ability to help continue to move this program forward. Josh will give us added depth in the center of our defense."

The center back was named to the All-District team the last two years and was selected as the District Defensive MVP last year. Also during his junior year Sanders was selected First Team All-Area and First Team All-State. He helped lead his club team to the State Championship twice.

Sanders joins Austin Halstead of Spring Hill High School as the first two signees for the 2010-2011 freshmen class.
