BATESVILLE, Ark. - The Trojans (22-11, 10-3 TSAC) remained in second place in the TranSouth with a 3-0 win at Lyon College (9-21, 4-7) on Monday. The Trojans won 26-24, 25-16, 25-15.
Trevecca had to go an extra point for the win in the first set, but the close win seemed to take the steam out of the upset minded Pipers. Trevecca then eased through the final two sets for the second 3-0 win over Lyon in less than a week.

Trevecca had 14 blocks and nine serving aces in the three-set match. Trevecca has equaled their win total of a year ago, in fact they have the exact final record had a year ago. This was the 29th meeting all-time with Lyon and the Trojans have a 15-14 advantage. The Trojans have now won seven of the last 10 meetings with Lyon. .

The Trojans will finish off the regular season on Tuesday with a match at Bethel University.
 
Trevecca will host the TranSouth Conference Tournament November 9, 10, 11.
