NASHVILLE, Tenn. - NAIA No. 13 Trevecca (3-0) won the Pops Duncan Classic finale 76-40 over Talladega College (3-3) at Moore Gym.
 
Trevecca had four players (Abby Lawson, Angelia Sails, Paige McFarlin, Rachel Raby) score 10 points. Raby led the team with nine rebounds and Sails had eight of her own. Christian Gibson had a team high four assists and six steals. London Elie had five blocks as the team totalled 11, just two short of the school record.
 
The Tornadoes led 12-9 with 13:18 to go in the first half. The Trojans pulled off a 20-0 run to take a 29-12 lead. Trevecca would lead by as much as 21 (35-14) in the first half before settling for a 35-17 halftime advantage.
 
In the second half Trevecca started with a 9-0 run that put Trevecca up 44-17. Trevecca held a 39 point lead on two occasions, including the final score of 76-40.
  Trevecca will travel to Oklahoma over next weekend to play Oklahoma Christian and Southern Nazarene University.
