BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. - No. 16 Trevecca (9-4, 2-0) defeated Blue Mountain (7-8, 0-1) 90-70 at Blue Mountain's Tyler Gym.
 
Trevecca led 44-26 as K.C. Van Atta led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Van Atta added three blocks, three assists and two steals. Also reaching double figures were Paige McFarlin (20) and Chelsey Taylor (10). Christian Gibson led the team with eight assists. Abby Lawson added seven rebounds.
 
As a team Trevecca shot 31-74 (42%) from the field, 10-24 (42%) from 3-point range, and 18-27 (70%) from the free throw line.
