BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. - No. 13 Trevecca (10-4, 2-0) defeated Blue Mountain (0-17, 0-1) 113-96 at Blue Mountain's Tyler Gym.

Trevecca used a 25-6 run in the middle of the first half to claim a 62-39 half time lead. Trevecca shot 23-34 (67%) from the field, 5-7 (71%) from 3-point range, and 11-14 (78%) from the foul line in the first half. In the second half the Toppers cut the lead to 14 at one point, but Trevecca held off the Toppers and won 113-96.

Matthew Elliott led the team with 25 points and five rebounds. The senior hit five 3-pointers. Keith Morris added 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Trojans. Michael France scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds. Jeremy Dixon (14) and Marquise Rudolph (13) also reached double digit scoring. Rudolph also added four steals and assists.

For the game Trevecca shot 39-64 (61%) from the field, 7-12 (58%) from 3-point range, and 28-32 (87%) from the foul line.
