NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca will host Cumberland University for a men's/women's basketball double header on Saturday, January 16. The games are scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m. at Trevecca's Moore Gym.
Nashville First Church of the Nazarene is one of the game sponsors and will have "Crush Cumberland" t-shirts for sale prior to the game. The other game sponsor is Blomberg Family Dentistry.
The Trevecca women have a 17-10 advantage in the series and have won the last 10 meetings. Trevecca coach Gary Van Atta is 8-0 in his career against CU. Trevecca has also won 17 of the last 18 meetings.
The Trevecca men have a 35-21 advantage in the series and are 6-5 versus CU in the last five seasons. The Bulldogs did win all three meetings last season on their way to the NAIA National Tournament.
