NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca women's basketball player K.C. Van Atta
passed the Trevecca record for career made 3-point baskets in the
Trojans win over Blue Mountain.
Van Atta, a 6-foot junior from Mt. Juliet, Tenn., leads the Trojans in scoring at 13.1 points per game.
Van
Atta now has 176 career made 3-point field goals. Jennifer Wilson was
the career leader with 172 made 3-pointers in her All-American career.
She also has 954 career points and is closing in on the 1000 career point mark.
Van Atta ranks No. 25 in the NAIA in blocks per game and No. 27 in made 3-point field goals per game.
The Trojans are currently ranked No. 17 in the NAIA and are tied for the lead in the TranSouth conference with a 4-0 record.
Trevecca will host No. 6 Freed-Hardeman University on Monday, January 18 at 6 p.m.
