NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer coach Brett Armstrong has added Joanna Aluoch to his 2010 recruiting class.

Aluoch, a five-foot-eight defensive midfielder from Lebanon High School, has been a four-year starter and two-time captain for the Blue Devils. Additionally she was named All-District twice and District MVP as a senior. Aluoch was also selected as the Homecoming Queen this year.

Aluoch played for head coach Kali Mcubbin at Lebanon HS and Peter and Michelle Anthony coached her with the Lebanon Lyons club team.

"The faith and academic principles that Trevecca upholds is what I desire to be a part of, "Aluoch said concerning her reason for selecting Trevecca. "The broadcasting program could truly help prepare me for my life's work. Trevecca will allow me to reach the true potential that God has provided me with."

"Joanna is a exceptionally well-rounded student and a very good player," Armstrong stated on the signing of Aluoch."She is a natural leader and a strong presence on the field with the ability to dominate the center of the field defensively. As both a person and a player she embodies so many of the qualities that we emphasize here at TNU.
