NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Trojan women's golfer Noel Moffett Allen was named as the head women's golf coach at Texas A&M Kingsville. The Javelinas will field a women's team for the first time since the early 80's in the Fall of 2010.

Allen, a three-time All-TranSouth performer, was apart of rise of the women's golf team at Trevecca. During her first season (2003-2004) the team finished second the TranSouth Tournament. Moffett was named All-Tournament at the Freed-Hardeman Invitational. The next three seasons Moffett helped the Trojans to three consecutive TranSouth Championships. During her junior and senior season the Trojans just missed their first trip to the NAIA Tournament with second place finishes at the Region XI tournament.

During her four years the Trojans set team scoring records every season.

Allen, the sister of current Trevecca men's golfer Grant Moffett, is originally from Poway, Calif.
