NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca men's soccer coach Danny Leavy has signed Tyler Marshall of Clarksville (Tenn.) Academy to play for the Trojans beginning in the Fall of 2010.

"Tyler will be a great addition to our attack," said Leavy. "He has shown the ability to finish frequently by scoring 44 goals his junior year of high School. Tyler has a great passion for the game that will translate into a lot of energy to our program."

Marshall played for Tony Sonnabend at Clarksville Academy and Rob Perkins in club soccer.

During his junior season the six-foot-two forward was named All-Midstate, District Offensive MVP, The Leaf Chronicle All Area Team, The Leaf Chronicle All Area Player of the Year,

He also broke the Montgomery County and Clarksville Academy record for goals scored in a season (44).

His club team (Royals Futbol Club) won two State Championships and was the State Runner-Up while playing with the Brentwood Soccer Club.
