PADUCAH, Ky. - The Trevecca Trojans (14-7, 5-3, TranSouth), currently recieving votes for the NAIA Top 25, lost on the road 86-75 at Mid-Continent University (12-10, 5-3 TranSouth) in Paducah, Ky. at Paducah Tilghman High School.

Trevecca started with a 11-6 run and 24-23 with 10:11 on the first half clock. Mid-Continent close the half with a 18-6 to lead 42-29. The Cougars shot 17-25 (68%) from the field in the first half and outrebounded the Trojans 17-9. With 5:35 to go MCU led by 17 (72-55), but Trevecca used a 8-0 run to cut the lead in half at 72-63 with 4:10 to go. The Cougars padded their lead again and led 83-70 with :39 seconds to go. Trevecca scored five straight and trailed by just eight (83-75), but could get no closer and MCU avenged the Trojans win in Nashville by the score of 86-75.

Matthew Elliott led Trevecca with 21 points while Michael France (18) and Jeremy Dixon (15) also scored in double figures. Elliott also led Trevecca with five rebounds and five assists. Trevecca hit 27-51 (53%) from the field, 9-22 (41%) from 3-point ranged, and 12-14 (86%) from the foul line. The Cougars outrebounded Trevecca 34-22.

Trevecca will host Blue Mountain College (1-24, 1-8 TranSouth) on Saturday, February 6, at 2010 at 4 p.m.

Trevecca's game with Martin Methodist (15-6, 3-4 TranSouth), originally scheduled for Saturday, January 30 at Trevecca's Moore Gym, has been rescheduled for Monday, February 8, 2010 at 8 p.m.
