NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca women's soccer coach Brett Armstrong has signed Audrey Robinson, from Veritas Academy in Atlanta, Ga.
The five-foot-seven defender played for Coach Ken Kurelic on the Concorde Fire Black club team.
"Audrey is an outstanding player with a wealth of experience in high-level programs against tough competition," commented Coach Armstrong. "She is a strong, physical defender with excellent communication skills on the field. She is smart and talented and understands the game very well. Audrey's an even better person and will fit right in the classroom and around our campus, and we expect her to be able to contribute almost immediately on the field as well."
In the classroom, Robinson is an Honors Student who was a Regional qualifier in speech and debate; on the field, she was Region 3 premier League player, in addition to being chosen for the Olympic Development team for 2007-08, and being named a Disney Showcase Champion for 2010.
"The Christ-centered foundation of Trevecca, and the programs it offers really drew me to know that it was the right fit for me," said Robinson.
