NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca (8-5), receiving votes for the preseason NAIA Baseball Top 25, opened its weekend series with Pikeville College (1-7) with an 11-1 victory on Friday. The Trojans have won eight of their last nine games.
 
Tim Dunn (3-1) dominated Pikeville with 10 strikeouts while allowing just three hits and no walks in seven innings of work. Tyler Curtis took the loss for Pikeville. Offensively Edwin Borbon was 4-5 from the lead off spot including a triple and an RBI. Luke Fennell was 3-4 with two doubles, an RBI, and a walk. Chase Birdwell was 2-4 with a run scored, and four RBI.
 
Trevecca had 17 hits and no errors while Pikeville had five hits and two errors.
 
The two teams will play at double-header starting at Noon on Saturday.
