PULASKI, Tenn. - Anais Puertas of Trevecca Nazarene University has been selected the TranSouth Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for the week ending March 7, 2010.

Puertas, a 5-foot-8 junior, outfielder from Estado Carabobo, Venezuela helped the Trojans to a 4-0 week with two wins over Bethel University and two wins over Covenant College. She had six extra base hits including three home runs and three doubles.

Puertas recorded six RBI and had eight runs scored. Her average for the week was . 533 with a slugging percentage of 1.333. Trevecca is 10-0 this season.
