DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Trevecca (12-6) bounced back from Thursday's loss, posting a 5-4 win over
NAIA #7 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (18-6) Friday night in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Trojans jumped on top with two runs in the top of the first inning, added three more in
the top of the sixth, and Kyle Pfirrman and two relievers held off the Eagles offense for the
victory.

Edwin Borbon went 2-5 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored, and Matt Tidwell added a double,
two runs batted in, two walks, and a stolen base.  

Pfirrman (3-1) went six innings for the win, giving up eight hits and two earned runs, while striking
out six and walking only one.  Caleb Longshore gave up two unearned runs in two innings, and Jerry Young got the final three outs for his first save of the season.  

The Trojans wrap up their trip to the Sunshine State with a doubleheader against EARU Saturday morning.  Game one gets underway at 10 a.m. Trevecca then returns home Wednesday for a 2 p.m. game with NAIA #11 Tennessee Wesleyan at Jackson Field.
