NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball coach Gary Van Atta has added 5'10" wing Britt Bell of Mt. Juliet High School to the 2010-2011 recruiting class.

Coach Van Atta says, "We have been recruiting Britt for a long time and I'm so glad that she has chosen Trevecca.  Her versatility will be a strength for her.  She can shoot the three and post up.  She can guard you full court or in the post.  She's also an excellent rebounder."

Bell averaged 15.0 ppg as a senior in helping Mt. Juliet to a 32-2 record, which included a District 9AAA championship, a Region 5AAA championship, a TSSAA Sub-state championship, and an appearance in the 2010 TSSAA State Quarterfinals.

She was named First Team District 9AAA, in addition to making the Region 5AAA All-Tournament Team, the District 9AAA All-Tournament Team, and the Greenbank Ladies Classic All-Tournament Team.

Bell's father Tim played baseball and basketball at Trevecca and was inducted into the Trojan Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995.
