Hedges played varsity for three years and served as team captain for the last two. As a junior and senior she was honored as All-District and was the MVP. In 2009, as a senior she was named all-tournament.

Coach Crowley says, "Savannah Hedges was impressive on her tryout day showing quickness, a great work ethic,  positive spirit, and passion for the game. Savannah has made it very evident that she is a team player who wants to be the best that she can be. She is determined to work hard and make improvements in her position as a libero."

"We are blessed to have Savannah  join our program and look forward to the positive impact that she will make on our team and university.  She is a great mission fit for our university and will represent Trevecca Nazarene University quite well."
