2008 Volleyball Coaches

Head Coach
Jayme Crowley is beginning her second season at the helm of the Trojan volleyball program in 2009-2010. She is the 14th coach in Trevecca volleyball history.

Crowley recently completed her 14th season of coaching on the high school level with her third4-A Arizona State Championship. Crowley, a four-time Arizona Region Coach of the Year, has 22 years of head coaching experience that includes five seasons on the collegiate level.

attended Missouri Southern State College for one season and then finished her college career at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. There she completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education. She received her Master of Arts degree in Physical Education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz.

She has her Volleyball Impact Certification in Arizona and has a Program Level Two Accreditation nationally.

In addition to her scholastic coaching experience, Crowley administrated 20 sports as the athletics director at Chaparral High School for two seasons.Since 2000 she as served as the director/owner of Club Summit in Scottsdale. There she managed six coaches and 36 teams.

On the high school level her coaching experience includes two stops at Chaparral High School (Scottsdale), Desert Mountain High School (Scottsdale), Florence (Arizona) High School, Lawson (Missouri) High School, and Apache Junction (Arizona) High School. Her combined record over 14 seasons is 293-179. Her record the last four seasons is a combined 179-50 with three Arizona State Championships (2007, 2005, 2004), a runner-up finish (2003), and reached the final four in 2006. Additionally she led three other teams to the state tournament. She coached four Scottsdale Players of the Year and a Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year.

On the college level she led St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisc. and Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Ariz. She led Central Arizona to the 1994 ACCAC conference championship with a 21-7 record.

Jayme currently resides in Scottsdale, Ariz. where she has attended Scottsdale First Church of the Nazarene for the last couple of years.

Krista comes to TNU from Phoenix, Ariz. She has played competitive volleyball for ten years and was a four year starter at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn. where she holds records in digs per season, aces per season, games played and matches played. Krista has coached club volleyball for four years for Memphis Juniors Volleyball Association and Memphis Metro Volleyball Club in Memphis and Arizona Volleyball Academy in Phoenix. She also coached the Junior Varsity team at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. Krista still enjoys playing both competitive indoor and sand volleyball in her free time.

Loran Richardson joins the Trojans' volleyball staff for the 2008-2009 season. Richardson spent the last two years as the head volleyball coach at Clinton High School in Clinton, Mo.

Richardson played collegiately at Missouri State University - West Plains (JUCO) before finishing her career at Central Methodist University (NAIA). While at MSU - West Plains, Richardson's team finished second in the nation both years. Her freshman year, she was named Best Libero at the national tournament, and she earned Academic All-American honors her sophomore season. At Central Methodist, she was a member of a conference championship team, and she was named an Academic All-American twice more. She also played basketball for the Eagles.

Richardson resides in Nashville with her husband Jeff, who is also a volunteer assistant coach with the Trevecca baseball team.
