Ben Cleveland was hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2008. He earned a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Alabama in 2006.

During his time at the University of Alabama Ben worked with the women's gymnastics and men's tennis teams and with the Crimson Tide football team for 2seasons (2003, 2005).

He also completed a NFL summer internship with the Cleveland Browns in 2005. Ben earned his M.S. in Sports Administration from Florida State University in 2008. During his time at Florida State, Ben was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Florida State Seminole football team. He was responsible for the daily treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of injuries for all Seminole football players.

He was also a 2-time participant in National Athletic Training Association Heat Studies for the 2006 and 2007 football seasons. He provided data for the Florida State football team in contrast with other Southeast football programs, data which were published in the 2006 and 2007 Fall editions of the Journal of Athletic Training.
