BJ Boston - 2010 Baseball Recruit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca Trojan baseball coach Jonathan Burton has signed BJ Boston for the 2009-2010 season.
Boston, a 5'10" right handed pitcher from Mt. Juliet, Tenn., joins the mix after playing at Jefferson State Community College. While at Jefferson State in 2008, Boston posted a record of 4-1 with a 3.76 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched. .
"BJ is a great local sign for us," remarked coach Burton. "He commands the zone with good velocity and is a great competitor. He will provide us with some JUCO experience in the middle of our rotation. BJ will be an immediate impact player for Trevecca."
Boston joins Scott Lynn (College Grove, Tenn.), Luke Fennell (College Grove, Tenn.), Codi Webb (College Grove, Tenn.), and Michael Son (Vincennes University) for next year's squad.
The Trojans are coming of a season that saw them post a 37-16 mark, and win the regular season in the TranSouth Conference at 17-3 - their third TranSouth regular season crown in four years.
