Caleb Longshore - 2010 Baseball Recruit
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca baseball coach Jonathan Burton has signed Caleb Longshore of Alabama. Longshore pitched for Cleveland (Ala.) High School and is now at Jefferson State Community College.
Coach Burton says, "Caleb is another great arm we have signed early in the recruiting process for next year. He commands the zone with three pitches and really does a good job with location and keeps the ball down in the zone."
"Our focus has been to sign several arms for the 2009-2010 season. Caleb is another that will provide an immediate impact to a JUCO filled staff next year. Caleb's potential at Trevecca makes causes us to have even more excitement about the season to come."
In 2008 at Jefferson State, he was 8-2 and two saves with a 3.63 earned run average. He had 39 strike outs in 62 innings pitched. He had two complete games. He pitched in 17 games, six of those were starts.
