has signed Junior College All-American Teegan Hunziker.
Hunziker,
of Milford, Iowa,
attended Okoboji High
School and the spent the last two years at Iowa Lakes Community College.
At Iowa Lakes
she was named to the 2009 NJCAA All-American Second Team as an outside hitter.
She was also named to the NJCAA Region XI Team. She led her team in digs and
aces the last two years and was second on the team in kills for both seasons.
In the classroom Hunziker produced a 3.2 GPA in Exercise Science.
At Okoboji
she was a multi-sport athlete participating in volleyball, basketball,
softball, and golf.
Jayme Crowley is pleased with her second signing
as head coach, "We are thrilled to have Teegan join our program. She is a
proven winner with loads of talent and experience. Her credentials are
excellent as you can see with her selection to the NJCAA All-American team and
by leading her team to the national tournament two consecutive years. Without
question she is a difference maker and will make an immediate impact on our
program. Teegan has been described as hard working, motivated and responsible. We
feel she is the type of person we need to help push us to the next level."
