NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca head baseball coach Jonathan Burton has added third baseman Chad Reynolds to his 2009-2010 signing class.

Reynolds, a 6'1 transfer from Cuesta College, Calif., helped lead his team to Western State Conference Champions with a conference record of 19-6 and an overall record of 30-16. He was also named Second Team All Western State Conference. Reynolds played all 43 games at third base while hitting .301 and producing a .366 on-base percentage. With 55 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, two homeruns and 33 RBI, Reynolds carried a .410 slugging percentage on the season.

Burton says, "Chad is a significant signing for us. He has the potential to be a run producer in our lineup and be a consistent defensively at the corner. As a junior transfer he will help lead our younger roster additions by example. We like Chad's makeup and we feel that he will be a guy that we can hang our hat on at third."
