Kate Worley - 2009 Women's Soccer Recruit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca women's soccer coach Brett Armstrong has added Kate Worley of Maumee, Ohio to his roster of signees for the Fall of 2009.
The 5'6" Toledo (Ohio) Christian High School product was also a standout distance runner as well as track and field performer in her prep career. The All-District and All-Academic selection also served her soccer team as Captain.
Armstrong says Worley is a tall and athletic outside midfielder, "A solid technical player, Kate brings a level of speed and athleticism to our midfield which should enable her to adapt quickly to the college game. She'll be a valuable addition, bringing a high work rate and a never-say-die attitude to the team. She's also a true student-athlete and we're excited to see how her interest in Urban Missions will mesh with Trevecca's new program of studies in the newly launched J.V. Morsch Center for Social Justice."
Worley, the daughter of Jeff and Laura Worley, plans to study Urban Missions at Trevecca.
Worley joins Kayla VanEs (Hendersonville), Jessica Porter (Spring Hill), Bekah Headrick (Aaron Christian), Hope Hackney (Wilson Central) and Taylor Beaulieu (Ezell-Harding) in this year's recruiting class.
