Harris says, "Peyton's best days are ahead of him on the basketball court. He had a great career at Franklin and has been coached well. As he gets physically stronger and adjusts to the college game, he will help us win games. He shoots it well and is strong academically."
Jay Johnson, Henry's coach at Franklin High School, say Trevecca is getting a player that has room yet to develop, "Peyton did a good job running the point for Franklin this year. He is a really good shooter and has a great basketball mind. He really came on the second half of the season and had a great District and Region Tournament. Trevecca got a player whose best days in basketball are still ahead of him."
His uncle is Travis Henry, who played basketball for Don Devoe at the University of Tennessee during the late 80's.
He was recruited by Lambuth University and Bethel College.
Henry joins Antonio Bryant (6'4" Louisville Iroquois HS), Marquise Rudolph (6'0" Clarksville NW HS) Blake Carden (6'3" Independence HS), and Antony Oduor (6'6" Nairobi, Kenya) in the 2009-2010 freshmen class for Coach Sam Harris.
